Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Imaglo.io at imaglo.io, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Imaglo.io is a web-based image processing tool that provides AI-powered filename generation, alt text creation, image resizing, format conversion, and compression. Processing is performed client-side in your browser.

3. Account Registration

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to process illegal, harmful, or infringing content
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or abuse the API
  • Use automated tools to exceed your plan's usage limits
  • Resell or redistribute the service without permission

5. Payments and Billing

Paid subscriptions are processed by Paddle. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time; your plan remains active until the end of the billing period. We do not offer partial refunds.

6. Usage Limits

Each plan has a monthly AI conversion limit that resets on your billing date. Unused conversions do not carry over. You can purchase top-up packs for additional conversions.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to your images. By using the AI renaming feature, you grant us a temporary, limited licence to process a thumbnail of your image for the purpose of generating a filename and alt text. This thumbnail is not stored.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated filenames and alt text may be inaccurate. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Imaglo.io shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Copyright and Intellectual Property

You may only process images and files for which you hold the copyright or have explicit permission from the copyright holder. Processing copyrighted material without permission may constitute infringement under applicable law.

Imaglo takes no responsibility for copyright violations committed by users. Repeat violations will result in account suspension.

11. Child Safety

Any attempt to process, upload, or generate filenames for content that sexually exploits or sexualises minors (CSAM) is strictly prohibited and illegal. Imaglo will immediately terminate any account found to be in violation and will report such activity to:

  • Relevant national law enforcement authorities
  • The National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) via their CyberTipline where applicable
  • The Internet Watch Foundation (IWF)

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from Account > Data & Privacy.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated by email.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Germany.
